The time naruto was given was well spent with sakura. They made great memories to hold onto..... together. Sakura had never in her life been so swept off her feet by and man, it was a perfect night.... she didnt want to leave his side. Naruto could tell this wasn't going to be easy, actual it would be the hardest thing he ever had to do. Watching Sakura leave with lady Natsume made his insides burn. He had her, the girl of his dreams, the girl who waited for him and now she's gone for 2 or more years.....

3 months after sakura left

"You six have made me proud, today is the day you will all become chunin...... but be careful we are in Suna and the Pre Test gaara is having everyone take is most likely going to be crazy. Get your scrolls and make it to the sand bunker, the heat will play tricks on you so be careful. Also Suna is filled with sand worms have you ever seen one before?" naruto asked his and sakura's genin.

"Sand worms?" Melody asked as she got a disturbed image in her mind 'oooooo bugs!'

"HEre.... there attracted to large amounts of chakra if there in the area you will know. If that happens take these special blinds of smoke pellets. THey cant stand it" naruto said handing them each 3 pellets.

"Naruto, what about the other genin?" renji asked

"Yea, do we need to worry about them?" shiori asked as Karas smirked "They will attack use, and we could be killed" karas said as renji smirked.

"That blows, this sand is hopeless, i cant even see when i used my lightning chakra" renji said

"I want you all to watch out for the stone genin, the cloud can be dangerous, and the mist will be a problem just stay together you have an advantage in numbers" naruto said as melody smirked "Aw sensei is worried about use!" she said blushing and snuggling up next to him like a cat craving attention.

"Wow haha hold it melody" naruto laughed "One more thing" naruto said pulling out 6 kuneis.

"these are special ninja tools, through them with all out might and ill be there..... only use this if your near death this is considered cheating.... but i dont want you to die got it?" naruto asked as they nodded.

"Get going" naruto said to the group as they turned towards a large dome of sand with a hole in the top 'Gaara your having to much fun with this' naruto thought as he looked at the kazekage on top of his newly created dome.

"Genin from across this great country's, welcome to the chunin exams!" gaara shouted down to them all as naruto and the rest of the Junin appeared next to him.

"any surprises i should know about?" naruto asked

"Hmph known that those kids of yours cant handle, but they should watch it, my genin are pretty gifted" gaara said

"I have one you would of loved... picture your ability with sand, and put blood in its place" naruto said as gaara smirked "Thats interesting"

"Its sick!" ino shouted from next to Hinata and Kiba who smiled down at there students.

"hey there ino, how are things going with sai?" naruto asked mockingly.

"Ahh.... slow! he cant catch a hint!" ino complained as everyone chuckled and hianta blushed slightly as kiba gave her a huge grin.

"Genin! you will al be given scrolls at random! they will be labeled with either Life, or death! at the end of this test you must have both scrolls! you have 48 hours to get to the bunker in the center of this dome ive created. THe desert can be a beautiful place, but like most things it has a dark side" gaara said with his expressionless face and dull tone.
