Chapter 1

(This is just to see if i get into the story im not sure if i will continue, unless i get alot of readers)

Sakura watched naruto as he walked away with the toad to leave for his training. Her chest was burning as she grasped her shirt..... Tsunade glared back at her as she smirked.....

"Lets go shikamaru" tsunade said as she got one last look at the knuckle head ninja and walked away..

Naruto stood at the gate as the toad said "TIme to go kido..."

'why do i fell like this.... i cant breath and now i cant move' sakura said as she looked to see naruto look at her and hold his thumb up and smile...... the image of him when he went after sasuke popped into her mind as her eyes grew round...

"Sakura chan remember i still have the promise of a life time to for fill....... 2 maybe 3 more years is all i ask.... then you can be happy" naruto said as a tear fell from her check as he pulled his hand down and smoke slowly started to raise from under his feet.

'move damnit body move!' inner sakura shouted as sakura thought  'no naruto..... forget the promise..... forget it all naruto i dont want you to get huirt anymore, naruto kun...... i dont need sasuke anymore i....... what am i saying'

She looked as the smoke came over his eyes as he turned to see her emeral green eyes start to tear up..

"Sakura chan" he said as he looked to the ground....

"Naruto kun" she shouted as she ran towards him.

"Sakura" naruto said as he budged forward....

"Its to late kiddo" the toad said as he looked down at him and back at sakura. She jumped towards him "Please dont leave me to!" she shouted as a huge puff of smoke filled the area and she landed on her stomach where he stood.

"No.... naruto please i dont want you to leave to... come back" she said as  her tears wet the ground and she thought to herself 'why does it hurt so much my chest is burning and my heart is about to burst, i cant even feel my legs all i can think about is his stupid smile! damnit naruto' she said to herself as 6 words echoed in her mind.

"A Promise of a Life Time"

".... it never hurt this much when i thought of sasuke" she said aloud as she heard a voice behind her.

"Thats because he broke your heart..... naruto is doing this to protect you" tsunade said

"Why..... i dont deserve it ive never done anything worth while for naruto, but still he puts his life on the line for me" sakura said

"Your so naive, just drink some sake with me and think about it come on" tsunade said as she pulled sakura up by her arms as she wiped her tears.

------With naruto------

Naruto looked to see a huge swamp like world and was in aw as he looked around but stopped to think about what just happened..... "Sakura..... ill be back soon i promise.... what was it you said?"

-----Back in village-----

Tsunade and sakura sat in the bar as the sun left the sky in the arms of the darkness that is brought by the moon.

"Y-You know what why is everyone so in love with Sasuke fucking uchiha" tsunade asked

"W-what? he's hot, strong, smart and straight forward" sakura said

"Ok..... he inst doing any good with his hotness sense he has been living with 2 men for the passed 3 years, he is only using his strength hurt his friends, and his smartness isn't be used, all he thinks of is hurting people and getting his revenge. and what the hell he killed itachi didnt he? why is he with akatsuki now" tsunade said as she covered her mouth.

"Its ok...... your right and i figured that might happen when that tobi man or whoever he was got to him first..... i just ........ i loved him so much" sakura said

Tsunade downed a shot "Look sakura, did you love sasuke, or the image, the thought of who he was"

"Its not like that, sure i was kinda a fan girl but his life was so hard, i felt sorry for him and i wanted to help him with that pain, watching his parents die his entire clan die.." sakura said

"Ok let me get this straight.... you felt sorry for sasuke uchiha who at least knew what it felt like to be loved? when naruto uzumaki had no one all his life. He couldnt walk down the street without getting hit with a rock, kick, spit on. A kid that couldnt go into the park and play with other children because there parents say he is a demon that deserves to die. A kid that every day he got home to his one bedroom apartment he had to f-fix his door and repaint his walls because the villagers kicked the door in rip his bed up and pain Die demon pig on the walls?" tsunade said as sakura took a shot as a tear formed in her eyes...

"I wasn't like them.... i always wanted to walk up to him..... i wanted to play with him and every time i noticed his apartment a tear would form in my eyes..... but every time i wanted to do something my father would pull me away with him after cursing him.." sakura said as tsunade sighed

"Sakura what do you feel right now" tsuande asked as she was looking at her along with the rest of the nin in the bar.....

"I... i just want to hold naruto..... really hold him in my arms and apologize for all the times i hit him and told him he was stupid.... and tell him thank you for all the times he saved me, all the times he bleed for my sake..... i wanna say i love him" sakura said as she blushed as tsunade smiled

"Dont take that back sakura, i want you to remember what you just said, thats the one thing i could never do..." tsunade said as she took another shot.

"Your right, i wanna tell him thank you for all his stupid complements about my forehead or monstrous strength.... i see now that was his way of saying your beautiful or wow sakura your amazing..... i want him to hold he" sakura said as tsuande sighed and pulled out a picture of the 3rd Jiraiya, Her, and Orochimaru when they where younger.....

"You miss him dont you" sakura said as a tear fell onto the picture.

"You have no idea....... naruto still hates me for letting him go..." tsunade said as they heard another voice as kakashi looked at everyone listening to there talk, among them was shikamaru who was smiling at what sakura had said.

"He doesn't hate you....... he was just angry he knows you didnt want him to go, if anyone knew that it was him...... theres one thing naruto told me that they talked about when they had saki for the first time....... it was you tsuande" kakashi said as he snatched her shot and took it....

"I know.... danit i know that bastard.... why did he have to go off and die!" tsunade cried as kakashi looked at the picture....

"For the same reason this man died" kakashi said as he pulled out a picture of Yondaime Obito Rin and Himself.

"He died for the future of this village, the future of this boy" kakashi said pulling out a picture of naruto.....

Sakura looked at tsuande as tears fell down her cheeks and sakura wrapped her arms around her head as she cried. Kakashi pulled up a chair as did shikamaru who hated to see a women cry no matter how troublesome they are.

"Tsunade he knew you loved him..... naruto told me thats what he said all the time, but he knew you would never be able to admit it....... he excepted to have a one sided emotion for you" kakashi said as tsuande gripped sakura shirt...

"S-sakura please dont make that mistake......." she said as sakura held her master....

"COme on hokage sama.... Jiraiya was one hell of a man..... he isnt dead if he is in your heart, in our hearts" a nin said as she looked up to see everyone looking at them...

"A toast to jiraiya at least he will get some rest" shikamaru said

"Well until Tsunade's load ass goes to meet him" a man said as they all started to laugh and managed to get a laugh out of sakura and tsuande before he was sent flying across the room.

"Ill show you load!"

"So sakura.... do you mean it?" shikamaru asked

"Jesus how did Jiraiya take this all his life!"

"Mean what?.... oh..... you know even though im d-drunk i do.... i love naruto uzumaki and it took him leaving again for me to understand it..... please dont say anything to anyone i want to be the one to tell him" sakura said as shikamaru smirked.

"Oh god AW STOP "

"our lips are sealed, isnt that right boys?" shikamaru asked as his dad laughed "Hell most of use wont remember any of this"

The bar was filled with laughter as sakura looked at kakashi as she started to fall forward.

"Wow sakura time for you to go home" kakashi said as tsunade stumbled over to them leaving the man out cold on the ground....

"K-kakashi dont let me forget any of this ok?" sakura asked as he smiled picking her up

"Come on tsuande come with me i wont be able to change her cloths help me get her home" he said as she stumbled out the door with kakashi as he carried sakura like a bride as her eyes slowly shut, the only thing that she thought of was "I love naruto...... naruto uzumaki"
